Hilda Ann Bentley, of Santa Fe Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at her home at the age of 61. She was born on July 17, 1962 in Heidelberg, Germany to Herman and Sandra Wratchford, while her father was stationed there in the Army.
Hilda loved to Spend her free time with her daughters, grandchildren and family. Hilda enjoyed traveling, spending time on the water and laying in the sun, she loved plants, going to concerts, Participating with the Bbq cook off team, going to the casino to play slots and watching her beloved Tennessee Titians. Hilda was a nurse for over 30 years. Hilda was a shining light to everyone who knew her. She was a great friend and mentor to many people. Hilda loved with everything she had in her and will be greatly missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her father- Herman Wratchford, Daughter- Megan Lathrop, sister Cindy Wratchford and Husband Bryan Lauzon.
She is survived by her daughters – Ashley Rodriguez and husband Robert, Sydney McDowell and husband Aaron, and Madison Widenhouse. Her grandchildren: Olivia Rodriguez, Isabella Rodriguez, Amelia Rodriguez, Milo McDowell and Austyn Dowdy. Her mother: Sandra Wratchford. Brothers- Dale Wratchford and wife Mindy, Richard Wratchford and Stephen Wratchford. Her honorary children : Julianna Terry, Chris Dowdy, and Lexee Miller. Her nieces and nephews and honorary grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 2:00pm with a Ceremony at 3 o'clock at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.
