She was born in Leake County MS to John Herbert and Luna Mae Davis. After graduating from Ethel High School in 1950, she married Charles B. Hilda's passions included spending time with her family, growing beautiful flowers, enjoying travel adventures, opening her home to friends and family, and cooking amazing meals. Her specialty was Caramel Cake.
After the passing of her husband, Charles, in 2008, she moved to Kennesaw GA to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Kennesaw First Baptist Church.
