Hilda King Schneider entered into her Savior's heavenly kingdom on July 16th, 2022.
Born in 1921, she would have celebrated her 101st birthday on Aug. 14. Hilda was in good health until the morning of her stroke. Hilda was the daughter of the late William and Eva Rufenacht King of Parral, Ohio. She attended Wooster Highway School and Dover High School. Hilda married Lawrence Schneider in 1940.
Hilda and Lawrence celebrated almost 56 years of marriage before his passing on July 1, 1996. They resided most of their lives in Sugarcreek and Dover, Ohio. She was an amazing homemaker and loved being with family. She loved her Lord and Savior and spoke of that love to everyone. Her well-used Bible has many verses marked and writings on the margins to help guide others. She was a prayer warrior and always had her prayer list beside her chair. She also loved her dog companions especially her last one, Fritz, a miniature Schnauzer.
Her family and friends were a very special blessing to her. Hilda is survived by her sons, Lawrence (Larry) Schneider, Jr., and his wife Portia, and Randy (Linda) Schneider. She had six grandchildren, Bill, Randall, Amy (Steve) Page, Susan (Alex) Schneider-Brito, Carol (Travis) Hout, and Jennifer (Nathan) Vaughan, and 14 great-grandchildren: Logan and Landon Schneider, Jesse, Oliva, Andrew Schneider, Katie, Josh, and Will Page, Eva Schneider-Brito, Courtney, Ellie and Carson Hout, Taylor and Jacob Vaughan. Hilda is also survived by special nieces, Renee (Tim) King and Beverly McCall. Hilda was preceded in death by her brother, Ervin King.
