Hilde was the beloved wife of Michael DiBernardo for 47 years, who survives her. She was a dedicated mother to her son, Keith Bunde, and his wife Fabricia, and a cherished grandmother to Joseph and Valerie. Hilde also leaves behind her loving step-sons, Joe and Michael DiBernardo. Her legacy of strength and outspoken nature will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.
Preceded in death by her father, mother, three sisters, and one brother, Hilde was deeply rooted in her family and heritage. She carried the memories of her loved ones with dignity and honor, reflecting her strong cultural ties and values.
A visitation to celebrate Hilde's life will be held at Wasik Funeral Home in Shelby Township, Michigan, on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The funeral service will follow on the same day from 5:00 pm. Arrangements are managed by Wasik Funeral Home-Shelby Township, where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and support.
