Hildreth Blaine Polston

Hildreth Blaine Polston, age 85, of Saint Paul, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at her daughter's residence in Campbellsville, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family.

Hildreth was born on November 4, 1940, in Saint Paul, Kentucky, to the late Calvin and Guyneth Armstrong Blaine. She was united in marriage to Silas Polston over 66 years ago on July 30, 1959. She is already greatly missed by her husband, children, and grandchildren. Hildreth was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of Saint Paul Church of Christ at the time of her passing. She was an incredibly gifted quilter and many were blessed to receive her handmade quilts over the years. She was passionate about her family history and was the keeper of the Armstrong and Blaine genealogy and greatly cherished her memories of growing up among her cousins. She was a very devoted Momma, Mamaw and Big Mamaw and her true pride and joy was spending time with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her baby brother, Marty Blaine.

Hildreth is survived by her loving husband, Silas Polston; one son, Aaron (Chong) Polston of Lloyd, Kentucky; one daughter, Patty (Andy) Haley of Campbellsville, Kentucky. Six granddaughters: Meredith (Aaron) Gilpin, Anna (Mike) Brown, Emily Haley, Mallory Haley, JeTaime (Rusty) Schilling, and Tina (James) Lowe. Seven great grandchildren: Landry and Madelyn Brown, Cora Ann Gilpin, Jacob Gibson, Katie Schilling, and Kenny Lowe. One brother: Gary Blaine of Saint Paul, Kentucky. She also leaves many cousins and friends to cherish her memory.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 6:00pm-8:00 pm at Globe Family Funeral Chapel located at 103 Dudley Avenue, Garrison, Kentucky.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am prior to the funeral in the Globe Family Funeral Chapel. Burial is to follow at Greene Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can made to Hosparus Health of Green River and Ronald McDonald House Charities and can be made through the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Bucky Blaine, Conor Blaine, Isaac Blaine, Chris Hall, Mike Brown, and Aaron Gilpin. Honorary Pallbearer is Landry Brown. The funeral will be officiated by Kevin Yeager and Larry Williams.
