Irsel Rister Hall, age 65, of Garrison, Kentucky, passed Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 20,1960, in Port Clinton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Richard and Bonnie Anderson Rister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Allen Rister and two sisters, Donna Jane Cassidy and Debora Ann Shepherd.
Irsel was proud of her career in Administration Services. After retirement because of long term illness she devoted herself to her family and church. She especially loved being with her grandchildren and working with the children of her Sunday School classes. Besides loving her family and church she loved hosting family events and bird watching
Irsel is survived by her loving husband, Clyde Gregory Hall; one son, Joshua Gregory of Portsmouth, Ohio; one daughter, Kalah Dawn (Andrew) Hoag of Lancaster, Ohio;5 grandchildren, Myla, Aisley, Addilyn, Nova, Everett, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Bivens Chapel Church, 4411 Kinney Road, Garrison, Kentucky, with Sister Jeanne Harris and Brother Ronnie Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Dawn Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, until the service hour at Bivens Chapel Church.
Creighton Arnold, Olivia Arnold, Levi Ervin, Zane Smyke, Jase Smyke and Ethan Pruitt will serve as pallbearers.
Kierra Bivens, Kelci Bivens, Keira Jamison, Isabella Pruitt, Mya Lawhun, Ashante Lawhun, Le Asia Lawhun, Keenan Kamer, Tucker Tackett and Alie Fannin will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Globe Family Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the family of Irsel Rister Hall.
