Mrs. Short is survived by her Husband-Terry Lafayette Short; Daughter-Jessica Kanay Short-McBryde; Stepdaughter-Cynthia Leigh Sanders; Stepsons-Terry Lynn Short and Brian Alan Short; Sister-Vader Laraine Stephenson; 13 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren.

This was a very special person who loved everyone. She cooked special birthday cookies and cakes for the special needs kids at Oakman Elementary/Middle school. She will be dearly missed. She was a mainstay helping out at T.W Martin and Oakman Elementary/ Middle School. She will be missed by many. I am blessed that I could call my friend.
