Hiram Honoré Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 2, 2025.
Hiram Joseph "Muddy" Honoré passed away on June 24, 2025.

He lived in Mount Airy/West Oak Lane and was a graduate of Northeast High School, an honorably discharged Army veteran, and a retiree of Campbell Soup. He was a friend to all who met him, and a kind and wise man to those who only knew him by reputation. He loved simple pleasures: word puzzles, sports radio, fresh coffee, toasted corn muffins, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

He leaves behind his wife, Kathreen; daughter, Kimball Honoré McNeal; son-in-law, Luther James McNeal; sister, Michelle (Michal) Jones; nieces, Renee Bailey, Elvera Honoré Young, Rachel Honoré Soukhona; nephews, Olin Honoré and Daniel Honoré, and a host of friends and loved ones.

A service for Hiram will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 11 am at Christ Baptist Church, 1509 Church Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19141.
