David Paul Schrader 6/16/1929 – 2/24/2026

David Paul Schrader, known as "Pop", 96, of Cherry Hill and Clementon, NJ passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Born in Philadelphia on 6/16/1929 he was the son of the late Edward and Mary P. (Walton) Schrader. David is predeceased by his sister, Helen R. Gormley and brother, Edward R. Schrader. He is also predeceased by Mildred L. (Lefferts) Schrader, former wife and mother of his children.

He is survived by his loving family: daughter, Kimberly M. Mannello of Forked River, NJ and sons, David E. (Jeanne) Schrader of Waretown, NJ and James K. Schrader of Cherry Hill, NJ, as well as grandchildren, Vincent J. (Meghan) Mannello, David P. and Scott E. (Jamie) Schrader, and Grace M. and Max D. Schrader, and also great-grandchildren, David E. and Elizabeth R. Schrader.

David graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia where he played soccer. He also played soccer for the Lighthouse Boys Club. He was in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict. Before and after his military service he worked for Buckley & Company in Philadelphia until he retired at the early age of 56.

"Pop" loved spending time with his family and was known for his great sense of humor. Besides soccer, he enjoyed skiing and fishing.

His internment will be for family members at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery. There will be a "Celebration of Life" to be held in late spring.
