Sharon Broccoli Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC on Mar. 2, 2026.
Sharon E. Broccoli (née D'Amico), age 78, of Pennsauken, formerly of Collingswood, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on March 27, 1947, Sharon was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel D'Amico and Elizabeth (Ridgeway) D'Amico. An only child, she built a life centered around family and lasting relationships. She shared more than 50 loving years of marriage with her adoring husband, Thomas Frederick Broccoli, who predeceased her

Sharon was a devoted and loving mother to her children: Kimberly (Joseph) Acchione; Dino (Grace) Broccoli, parents of son Anthony; Brian Broccoli (Stephanie), parents of Brianna, Massimo, and Sophia; the late Thomas A. Broccoli (Sharon); and Christopher Broccoli, father of Nathan and Nicolas. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Leighton and Lea.

She was a dear sister-in-law to the late Joseph Broccoli (Karen) and is lovingly remembered by many extended family members and close friends who will miss her deeply.

Sharon was a talented hairstylist who worked at a local salon before eventually purchasing and proudly operating Hair Magic beauty salon in Collingswood, NJ. After retiring from the salon, she continued her career managing Bayard's Chocolate House in Cherry Hill for over twenty years. Wherever Sharon worked, she formed lasting friendships along the way, including with her longtime friend Lenore.

She found joy in gardening, planting flowers, and decorating her home for every holiday. Sharon had a special love for frogs and was a devoted Jimmy Buffett fan. Above all, she was the heart of her family - a strong and loving woman whose devotion to her children and grandchildren was unwavering. She also adored her two cats, Pumpkin and Max.

Beyond her work,Sharon's heart was truly in her home, where she was the quintessential hostess. Her interests in entertaining and spending quality time with her family were the cornerstones of her life. Sharon's home was the hub of laughter, love, and the delicious aromas of her cooking, which drew people together and created memories that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to be part of her world.

Sharon's warmth, resilience, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, March 6th from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Entombment will be in Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
