June 20, 2009 at age 77, of Tonawanda, NY. Beloved husband of Fairy Mae (nee Daye) Blue. Devoted and dearest father of Duane H. (Shunte) of Atlanta, GA and DeReese Blue of Tonawanda, NY. Loving and cherished grandfather of Duran, Darion, and Daija Blue. Son of the late Sally Mae and James Blue. Devoted brother of Armetta (late Rudolph) Casion, Fannie (late Joseph) Morton, his twin Gloria B. (Dr. Horace) Boyer and the late Willie Mae (Thomas) Paige, Ernest (Ethel Gaskin) Blue, Benjamin (Dot) Blue, Dennis (Mary) Blue and Samuel "Sam" Blue. Brother in law of Dorothy (late Elmer) Hayes of NC, Helen (late Lonzie) Hayes of NC, Ruth Daye of Buffalo and the late Shirley Outlaw, Essell Daye and Arito Daye. Also survived by cousin, Helen Jefferson along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from FL, NC and NY. Foremer husband of L. Stevens. The family will be present on Saturday from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME INC. 2600 Sheridan Drive (corner of Parker Blvd.) where a Homegoing Celebration will immediately follow at 5:00PM. Friends invited. Hollowith was a proud, 42 year Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War and Army Reserves until his retirement in 1993. Flowers gratefully declined.
