Obituary
Guest Book
With the heaviest of hearts, we share the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and brave little voyager, Honesty Marie Sampson, who set sail for her next journey on November 23, 2025, at just five years old. Born on November 11, 2020, Honesty lived her life surrounded by love, music, and the colors of the world-especially the magical worlds of Moana and Frozen, which always made her eyes sparkle.
Honesty had a special way of speaking without words; her eyes and her smile carried whole conversations. With just a look, she could comfort you, make you laugh, or remind you how deeply she loved you. She had a heart full of courage-like Moana following the call beyond the reef-and she faced every moment of her journey with a strength far beyond her years.
She loved the ocean, the music, the stories of adventure, and the way Moana followed her guiding star. And like the warm glow of Te Fiti's heart, Honesty brought life, love, and light to everyone around her.
Honesty is survived by her loving parents, Pamela Laurie and Timothy Sampson Sr., and her cherished siblings, Miguel and Timothy Jr. She filled their home with joy, sweetness, and a spirit that will echo in their hearts forever-like a song that never fades.
She is also held forever in the hearts of her aunts-Susana Jones, Sherna Njie, and Nicole Laurie-along with many other devoted aunts and uncles who adored her. Honesty was blessed with the love of her maternal grandparents, Alice Stanciu and Bruce Sampson, her paternal grandparents, Veronica Vasquez and Gregory Sampson, and her step-grandmother, Sherri Huth. Each of them carries memories of her laughter, her bravery, and the light she shared.
Family and friends are invited to honor Honesty's life during visiting hours on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI, 02879. A prayer service will follow at 1 PM, offering the chance for loved ones to gather, reflect, and support one another.
Though her time on this shore was brief, Honesty's spirit will continue its journey-guiding her family like the stars guided Moana. Her love remains, constant and bright, carried forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
