Honey Ray Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenlawn Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center in Ozark from Oct. 1 to Oct. 3, 2025.
If you knew Honey, you knew a woman who could be kind and stubborn in the same breath, who gave everything she had to everyone else, and who never shied away from speaking her mind. She was strong, sassy, beautiful, selfless, and above all, someone who made the world softer and safer just by being in it.
She spent her life caring for others. Over the years, she raised children who weren't her own, yet she loved them like they were. No one left her home without being fed, fussed over, or reminded that they mattered. Her heart was just as big for animals. Stray dogs, abandoned cats, and every creature in between, found within her a safe haven. She gave them what everyone deserves: a warm bed, a full belly, and unconditional love.
Life threw her more than her fair share of hardship. She outlived three husbands, her parents, and several brothers and sisters. But through it all, she carried herself with grit and grace; sometimes with tears, sometimes with laughter, and often with that stubborn streak that kept her pushing forward.
Honey leaves behind a sister; three brothers; her children; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who adored her; and a legacy of love that can't be measured.
To know her was to be cared for and to be loved by her was to have a fierce protector, a loyal friend, and a safe place to land. Honey will be deeply missed, but her spirit–strong, stubborn, and endlessly loving–will live on in every life she touched.
