Hope Murphy Obituary
Hope Elaine Murphy, a resident of White Cloud, Michigan, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, just shy of her 62nd birthday. Hope was born on March 7, 1964 to Donald C. Murphy and Phyllis M. (Crysler) Murphy in Fremont, Michigan.
Hope is survived by her ex-husband, Daniel Maike, her sons; Jeff and Daniel Maike, her brother; Jami Murphy; sister; Lori Murphy, her beloved niece, Brandy Carter "Brandycakes"; along with several additional nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her children, Michael Martin Totten and Mandy Totten. Her parents; Donald Clifford Murphy and Phyllis Mae Murphy, as well as her sisters; Teri L. Murphy, Sheli A. Murphy, and Tami Murphy.
Hope expressed her love for life through music, delighting fellow listeners with her talent on the flute. Her adventurous spirit drew her to the occasional flutter of excitement found at the gaming tables, where she embraced the thrill that life had to offer.
Though no formal services will be held at this time, family and friends are encouraged to remember Hope in their own special ways, cherishing her memory and the joy she brought to those around her. Memorial contributions may be directed to Crandell Funeral Home to assist the family with this unexpected expense. Arrangements have been provided by Crandell Funeral Home - White Cloud Chapel.
