Jesse Michael Murphy

Jesse Micheal Murphy, age 37 of Grand Junction Iowa, passed away March 3, 2026, surrounded by family.

Jesse was born December 20, 1988 to Dennis and Misti Murphy. Jesse was the kind of person who truly lived life at full throttle and made sure everyone around him was having a good time, too. From hunting and fishing, to camping under the Iowa stars, Jesse was most at home in nature or at the dirt track cheering on his favorites. He loved music and concerts, but his biggest love was his family and friends above all else. Known for his sharp tongue and jokes for every occasion, Jesse had a unique way of turning every stranger into a life-long friend.

Jesse leaves behind his parents, Dennis and Misti Murphy; daughters: Faith Murphy of Perry IA and Mckinley Murphy of Ogden; brothers: James Murphy of Grand Junction, Jared (Danielle) Murphy of Bondurant IA; sister, Kimber Murphy (Zeb Severson) of Grand Junction; grandmother, Barbara Murphy of Jefferson; his beloved nieces and nephews; along with a massive circle of family and friends who will forever miss his quick wit and big heart.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Dennis Murphy SR; grandparents, Joe and Joyce Bellinghausen; and uncle, Hal Bellinghausen.
