Horace Cook, a talented welder from Corsicana Texas, has left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a passion for music that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. Born on September 13th, 1948, Horace dedicated his life to helping others in need and spreading joy through his melodious voice and acts of generosity.

Throughout his life, Horace found solace in singing and enjoying classic movies and TV shows like Gunsmoke and Matlock. His daughter, Tammy, lovingly recalls how he would enchant her with his rendition of Al Green's songs, bringing immense joy to her heart. Horace's love for Al Green's music was evident in the way he would effortlessly belt out the tunes, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of listening.

Horace's proudest accomplishment was his daughter Tammy, whom he cherished above all else. Tammy remembers her father as "awesome" - a true testament to the special bond they shared. In addition to Tammy, Horace is survived by a wide circle of family and friends who will miss him deeply.

Horace is reunited in eternity with his parents Robert Lee Cook and Frankie Lee Anderson, as well as his son Dequenton Cook. He leaves behind his daughter Tammy Alexander; grandchildren Gary Lamont Cook, Tamitra Alexander, Leslie Cook; great-grandchildren Gary Vontrez, Gary Jr., Arielle Chosen, Tegarrion, Takyra, Generius, Journie, Tra'Darius, Marcel, Khloe and Kaleb; sisters Debera Weaver, Cami Cobbin and Alberta Dave; brothers Jerry Cook and Robert Cook and bonus daughter Kella Pierce and her children Zakiyyah and Dralan Pierce.

Horace Cook's life was a symphony of selflessness, music, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will remain etched in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that his legacy lives on through the love he shared with those around him.
