Horace Windham Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Leta Windham; son, Horace E. Windham and wife Shirley of Little Rock; daughter Mary W. Root and husband Dr. Paul of Arkadelphia; sister, Lexie Taylor of Roland; four grandchildren, Larry Root, Dr. Jeff Root, Roy Windham, and Brenda Hampton; five great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A gathering in remembrance of Mr. Windham will be held Saturday, November 16, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, with Rev. James C. Walker officiating. A Masonic service will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, November 15, 2002 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Custom Funerals & Cremations, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, 661-9111.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd Street, Little Rock, AR 72201, American Cancer Society, 901 North University Ave., Little Rock, AR 72203, or Archview Baptist Church, 12610 Arch Street, Little Rock, AR 72206.
