MONETTE - Patrick Allen Bader, 77, was fully healed and went home to his Savior on Feb. 2, 2026. Pat passed from this earth to Heaven peacefully, with his wife and daughter at his side. He was born on Jan. 13, 1949, in Mauston, Wisconsin, to the late Matthew and Marcella Walther Bader.
Pat loved the Lord and was a member of Leachville First Baptist Church. He believed it was a privilege to pray for anyone who needed it. He was a certified car nut, making a living working on cars and spending his off hours building hot rods, talking about cars, and attending car shows.
Before making Arkansas his home, he worked in factory production in Rockford, Illinois. After moving to Northeast Arkansas, he continued factory work and later became a business owner, operating a Conoco station, then Monette Auto Sales alongside his close friend and business partner, Don Sims.
Pat is survived by his wife of 57 years, Debra Bader, whom he married on September 20, 1968; his daughter, Stacie Herrington (Dan) of Little Rock; and three grandchildren who brought him immense pride, Hannah Helton (Carson) of Little Rock, Jett Herrington (Prudence Trueman, fiancé) of Lakewood, Colorado, and King James of Little Rock. He also leaves behind his loyal dog, Sargent, and a host of family and friends in Northeast Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his sisters; Jeannie Roberts and Darlene Pruitt of Searcy; his children, Matthew Bader, Amanda Bader, and Michelle Bader; and his beloved yellow labrador of almost 20 years, Ringo.
