Hortensia Reddicks Obituary
Hortensia was a devoted sister, mother, and grandmother who was known for her deep faith, dedication to protecting her family, and her witty sense of humor. She spent nearly 15 years serving as a jailer in Livingston, Texas, and dedicated most of her life to caring for her home and family.
She is survived by her children: Juan Antonio and Della Gonzalez; Juan Mauricio and Nicole Gonzalez; Monica Gonzalez; Juan Richard and Amy Gonzalez; and Veronica and Lupe Rocha; along with 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary's Church. Hortensia will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
