Howard “Bud” Norman Chambers of Hardy, VA, age 91, born May 4, 1932,
passed away peacefully at his home on March 31, 2024, surrounded by his
family.
Our Father enjoyed archery, he was a member of Eutaw Forest Archers for over 50 years. He enjoyed hunting and playing his guitar.
An Army veteran, Howard served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1955 as a Medical Aidman CPL, with MED DET, 70th Tank BN in Korea. He was a loving father and
grandfather to his family, always the strong rock to lean on.
He is survived in death by his brother, George Chambers, his children, William Joseph Chambers, daughters, Eilain England, Cheryl Fulbright, Lisa Chambers, Luanna Ransom and Wendy Annette Chambers. He was the proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
Howard is preceded in death by his wife Edna Apperson Chambers; his parents, Elbie and Howard Chambers; brother, Lester Chambers; daughter, Crystal King; and two sons, Jesse and Tommy.
Services will be private.
