Howard Collins Obituary
CAMDEN — Howard R. Collins, 83, of Camden, died Thursday, June 2, 2022, at his residence.
Born on July 13, 1938, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was the son of the late Howard A. & Louise A. (Feeley) Collins.
Howard had retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of American Legion Post #215 and VFW of Eaton and Montgomery County paramedic #150. Before moving to Camden, Howard and his wife Ellen were caretakers of Ivy Court.
Howard was preceded in death by his wife Ellen E. Collins in 2021 and children James M. Casey in 2013, Diane M. Casey in 2012, and Marybeth Horn in 2004.
He is survived by children Connie & Steven Wolfe of Hillman, Michigan; Howard W. & Melissa Collins of Middletown; Deirdre L. & Archy Wiseman of Kettering, and Daniel J. & Cheryl Casey of Camden; Lawrence B. Casey of Kettering, and Ellen M. & Luke Eichhorn of Columbus; brother James A. Collins, Grand Rapids, Michigan; 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Preble County, P.O. Box 72, Eaton, OH 45320.
