Howard S. Goodman

Howard S. Goodman, of Blessed Memory, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 in Cranbury Township, at the age of 87.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was raised in Hillside and Springfield. He lived in Colonia for twenty-nine years before settling in Monroe Township in 1991. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Howard enjoyed a long career in sales before retiring as a purchasing agent for Michael Foods of Elizabeth. He enjoyed tinkering, building models, collecting coins, stamps and other collectibles and, his yearly summer vacations with his family in Wildwood Crest.

Predeceased by his wife, Marilyn R. Goodman, OBM, in October 2022, and his parents, Irving and Pearl Goodman, OBM, he is survived by his daughters, Jodi Reed and her husband, Keith and Melissa Mancinelli and her husband, Donald; a sister, Meryl Schuster; grandchildren, Devon Jones and her husband, Jeffrey, Shelby Reed, Michael and Alex Mancinelli; and, a great-grandchild, Hayden Jones.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 31st at 11:30 AM at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1089 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey, under the direction of Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Spotswood. Those attending the service are requested to gather at the cemetery office prior to the service start time.

Shiva will be observed on Tuesday only beginning at 2:00 PM at the Mancinelli residence, 17 Christina Avenue, Monroe Township, New Jersey.
