Howard Hamilton Obituary
Howard Edward Hamilton, 54, of Kingsport passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, after an apparent heart attack in Columbia, South Carolina. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a 1986 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School where he played football. Howard was an employee of Coastal Supply for 35 years. He attended Christ Fellowship Church. Howard enjoyed playing softball. He was an avid Dobyns-Bennett and UT Football supporter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Hamilton and Peggy and George Boyd.
Howard is survived by his wife, Chandria Hamilton; daughter, Courtney; son, Dylan; sister, Laura Hamilton; brother, Skip Rhoton and wife, Terry and Butch Rhoton and wife, Becky; nephews, Tyler and Max Rhoton; and several cousins; and best friend, Roger Hammonds.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A Celebration of Life will follow at 8:00 pm with Kathy Martin-Stricker officiating.

I´m so sorry Chandria (and family) I´ll never forget the Sat before his passing celebrating Bobby´s bday with ya´ll. The way you "flirted" and looked at each other. Wish I´d have taken more pics. Sorry to hear about Howard. I started going to Coastal Suply not to awful long after he started working there.He worked there a long time. Rest In Peace Howard.

While I never knew Howard outside of the work environment every time I came in to coastal he took his time no matter if he was on the phone or what to always greet me and joke around and make me feel like more than just a customer. He was always very kind and went out of his way to help others around him and was never afraid to crack a sarcastic joke at you. I know he will be deeply missed by his friends and family as much and more than his customers. There will forever be a little less Joy going into coastals now that he's not there and will always be a little bit of a bittersweet reminder of his life and legacy.
