Mr. Howard Kenneth Horne, 90, passed away on February 4, 2025. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia, interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by wife Barbara Horne, parents, Winfred and Lana Horne, two sons, Richard Horne and Michael Horne and great-grandson, Blake Spears.
Howard was a native of Andrews, North Carolina and spent most of his life in Austell Georgia. Howard was the son of Winfred Horne and Lana Horne. Howard was married to Barbara Jean Horne for 66 years before her passing in 2018. His interests included watching Braves Baseball, building computers, building birdhouses, watching Falcons Football, collecting Nic nacs, and spending as much time with family as possible.
He is Survived by sister: Patricia King, three granddaughters: Shannon Spears, Kayla Horne and Ashlyn Calhoun; three great-granddaughters: Danyel Pilgrim, Olivia Calhoun and Sophie Calhoun; two great-grandsons: Jacob Spears and Michael Daniels.
Family will receive friends 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
