He passed away on November 29th, 2025 at the age of 95 years, 6 months & 27 days.
A memorial service will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Alexandria, MN.
Inurnment will be at Geneva Cemetary

Howard met his love & was united in marriage to Delores Peterson on August 22, 1954 in Alexandria, MN.

Howard was a high school graduate from Glenwood in 1947 and
a graduate from St. Cloud State Teachers College.
He began his teaching career at a country school in Glenwood
then onto other locations such as Litchfield, Coon Rapids & Anoka
He was a Principal in Wells, Northfield & Anoka.
He also taught 4th grade at an International School in Antwerp, Belgium
He retired from teaching in 1992.
Howard loved & had an insatiable desire (with the absolute greenest thumb) for gardening!
He also enjoyed ceramics: together they taught ceramic classes for 25+ years.
