In his spare time, Howard raised and sold coon hunting dogs. He raised and sold hundreds of dogs all across the state. He loved to coon and squirrel hunt. Howard was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was very caring and would go out of his way to visit friends and family who were sick or in the hospital. He was caring, generous, giving, and a man of his word.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Amie “Dood” Lansdown, three brothers, Harold, Delvin, and Clifford Lansdown, and one sister, Wanda Lathrom.
