Howard was born December 14, 1930 to Howard J. Livermore Sr. and Ruth Vibberts Livermore in San Diego. Howard grew up in the Bay Park area and attended Bay Park Elementary School, Pacific Beach Jr. High School and graduated from La Jolla High School. He earned his degree at SDSU, majoring in Civil Engineering and with a minor in Mathematics. He served as Sergeant in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He married Lorraine Rennie and together they had a son Brian William Livermore. After his divorce, he married Patricia Ross Hull Yarbrough and became a instant father to 5 more children. Howard and Patricia had 2 more daughters Virginia and Lisa. Howard owned and operated his own construction trenching business until retiring. He was member of Scott Memorial Baptist Church for many years. In his younger years he was avid motorcycle racer and water skier. He often and always put other people's needs before his own, ready and willing to lend a helping hand. He was a devout family man and Christian, spending his adult life being a faithful witness for the Lord. His fatherly advice and twinkling blue eyes will be missed. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, his two former spouses, his step-son Francis Leland Hull and son-in-law Jeroen Menno Voorkamp. Mr. Livermore is survived by his son Dr. Brian W. Livermore (Suzanne), daughters Virginia Livermore Voorkamp, Lisa Livermore Griess, step-daughters, Merrileen Hull Simpson (Edward), Randy Jo Hull Harris, Lynn Yarbrough and step-son Patrick G. Hull (Judith). He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 18 great -grandchildren. Ephesians 2:8-9, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man..

This man ment so much to me. I first met Mr. Livermore when I was in his 2nd grade Sunday school class in1978 @ Scott Memorial in north park Ca. He took me under his wing and would take me to the Chicken pie shop about once a month for lunch after church. He also took me to a youth group for boys called tree climbers. He also gave me a12 speed bike and paid my way on a bike trip from San Francisco to Santa Barbara. I belive it was for my 30th birthday he gave me a very nice Bible. He has always been in my thoughts throughout my years. Howard you will and are loved and missed, thank you for everything. I will say that to your face when we meet again in heaven. P. S. I did not tell you this before but I did love you and still do. You were an awesome mentor. R. I. P.

I have nothing but wonderful memories of Howard as a helpful, caring, gentleman. He was a devoted friend to my mom and her cockatoo, and always a ray of positivity in all our lives. You will be missed, Howard.
