Howard Marlor Obituary
Born February 22, 1941 in Madison Co., NC, Mr. Marlor was a son of the late Preston Kinnley Marlor and Este Mae Payne Marlor. He was also preceded in death by 8 siblings.
Mr. Marlor was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 28 years of service.
Surviving is his wife, Norma Jean McCarson Marlor; daughter, Carolyn Garland Wilson (Michael); son, Howard Jackie Marlor, Jr.; grandchildren, Olivia Mae Chipley, Christopher William Lohr (Michelle), Justin Carl Wood, Samuel Brian Wood and Ashley Widner (Gary); special nephew, Nathan Buckner (Erin); sister-in-law, Kay McCarson and nephew David; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5 at the Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery Chapel in Black Mountain. The Rev. David Rogers will officiate.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
