With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Sonny Miller, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend. Sonny passed away at home with his family on October 5th, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love.

To know Sonny was to be welcomed into a space of warmth and acceptance. He had a unique way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether it was through a shared story, a helping hand, or one of his infectious smiles, Sonny had the rare gift of bringing light into any room.

A man of integrity, humility, and deep compassion, Sonny touched countless lives across generations. His generosity wasn't measured in grand gestures, but in quiet, consistent acts of care that built bridges and mended hearts. He believed in people, stood by them in difficult times, and celebrated them in joyful ones.

Sonny's passions were simple yet profound – he loved nature, good food, long conversations, and the company of those he held dear. He loved the Vikings, Nascar, golf, fishing, and Boise State. And in that presence, he gave the rare gift of genuine connection. Though we grieve his absence, we celebrate the rich and lasting imprint Sonny left on our lives. His spirit lives on through the laughter he shared, the wisdom he offered, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his wife Jean, his children Ashley, Justin, Whitney, Misty, and Dustin, his many grandchildren, and his beloved brother Dan.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Cloverdale Funeral Home located at 1100 N. Cloverdale Rd., Boise, ID 83713. All who knew and loved Sonny are welcome to attend and share in honoring his memory.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Sonny's memory the way he would have wanted. Donations to St. Luke's Children's Hospital in honor of Jett are encouraged and appreciated.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.
