Mr. Howard William Reardon

HOWARD William Reardon It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Reardon, Sr., previously of Westfield, NY, Denton, MD, and most recently, Williamsburg, VA.

Howard was born on August 28, 1933, in Connecticut. He graduated from Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, CT, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Purdue University. After completing his education, he married the love of his life, Mildred Henry of Westfield, NY, on December 21, 1958.

In June 1966, Howard accepted an area manager position with Butler Manufacturing in Maryland, and the family moved to Severna Park. In January 1969, they relocated to Denton on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Throughout his career, Howard traveled across three states and served as both a liaison and a mentor to many in the metal building industry. In March 2005, following nine years of retirement, Howard and Millie built their dream home at Greenspring on the Williamsburg National Golf Course in Virginia.

Howard was known for his keen sense of humor, quick wit, and integrity. He was an honest man who led by example and always kept his word.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mildred (Henry) Reardon; his son, Howard Reardon, Jr. (Johann) of Denton, MD; his daughter, Ellen (Reardon) Roberts (Paul) of Yorktown, VA; and his son, Frederick Reardon (Suzanne) of Redondo Beach, CA. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will sorely miss his mandatory ice cream desserts.
