I succeeded Howard in the role of NCCo Deputy Director of Elections in 2021. I was grateful that he took time to meet with me and give me some much-appreciated advice and insights on the job. We discovered we had a mutual interest in American foreign policy and often exchanged online articles we thought the other would find interesting. I'm very glad I got to know him. I'll miss him.

I remember Howard from my very first meeting with the First State Hokies. At the time, I was about to be a new student at Tech. Through the years, it was a privilege to see him and spend time with him at DE Hokie Events. He will be greatly missed.
