Born in Bay Shore, NY he is the son of Howard W. and Dolores (Locascio) Stables of Bohemia, NY.
Howard was a proud graduate from the Culinary Institute of America where he was 1st in his class and most likely to succeed. The creativity and craft of being a chef came easily to Howard. More recently, he proudly completed and received a certificate from the NYS CRPA (Certified Recovery Peer Advocate) Board. He was looking forward to helping others.
Howard enjoyed collecting things. Two of his favorite items to collect were baseball cards, especially of Derek Jeter, and comic books.
In addition to his parents, Howard is survived by his daughter Lea Stables, and his 2 grandchildren Jackson James and Meadow Grace Dobesh all of Cobleskill, NY. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Donna Risickella of Bohemia, NY, and Teresa Carney of Stony Brook, NY.
Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
