Howard Wesley Winter

Howard Wesley Winter of Warrenton, MO passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 58.
Howard was born December 27, 1966 in Troy, MO to the Marvin and Lana Winter nee Trauth.
Howard was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. He was the backbone of his family-- a man whose laughter, kindness, and strength touched everyone who knew him. He loved spending time fishing with his Truman O.T.N. gang (if you know you know) Hunting with his son Aaron Winter and grandchildren. He enjoyed camping spending time with his family and making memories. He loved going out to eat, teaching lessons to his grandchildren. Always a jokester, Howard's laughter could brighten any room, and his big, bushy beard and even bigger heart made him unforgettable.
He will forever be remembered for his deep love and devotion to his wife, Diana, whose bond with him was an example of true partnership and love.
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Diana Winter; his mother, Lana Winter; sister, Chrissy Hercules; children, Aaron Wesley Winter (Emily Pedersen), Heather Ann Winter and his bonus son Justin Michael Contis; and his beloved grandchildren, Warren Andrew Garcia, Alberto "Richie" Garcia, Isabella Ann Winter, Layla Annamarie Winter, Lillyana Elizabeth Garcia, and Wesley Jose Garcia, who brought so much joy to his life.
He preceded in death his father, Marvin Wesley Winter; his sister, Raney Winter; daughter, Ashley Nicole Lockhart; and his grandparents, Wesley and Emma Winter, Kenneth and Virginia Trauth.
Howard's love, laughter, and wisdom will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
