Hubert Andrew Robinson, 95, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away peacefully at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital on March 13, 2026.
Hubert was born April 29, 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Roy and Mary (Fluhr) Robinson and lived in Elizabeth, Indiana during his childhood. Hubert, a Korean War veteran, served our country in the U.S. Navy during 1950-1955. Hubert retired from the United States Post Office in Louisville with 37 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beautiful wife, Barbara Jean Middleton Robinson; siblings, Joseph (Thelma), Gene (Clara), Marie (Paul) Knear, Walter “Rags”, Ralph “Curly” (Geraldine), Kenneth, Mary Evelyn; and brothers-in-law, Joseph Kingsley and George “Pat” Hollkamp.
He is survived by his sisters, Odie Kingsley, Ivy Hollkamp and June (Raymond) Jacobi, sister-in-law, Hilda Robinson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will gather at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) and proceed in procession to Crown Hill Cemetery (207 S. Shelby Street, Salem, Indiana) for a graveside service and military honors at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Hubert A. Robinson.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Silver Crest Assisted Living, Baptist Health Floyd Hospital and Hosparus of New Albany for their loving care and support.
