Huck Thomas McDonough, beloved son of Tommy and Amber (Swander) McDonough, was stillborn on Monday morning, December 8, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was 19 weeks gestation.
Huck will be deeply missed by his loving family.
Tommy is a self-employed farmer, and Amber is an elementary teacher at Parkway Elementary School. Huck’s parents and siblings attend New Horizons Community Church in Rockford, Ohio.
Huck is survived by his parents, Tommy and Amber McDonough of Rockford, Ohio, and his two brothers, Cooper McDonough and Asher McDonough, both at home. He is also survived by his Paternal Grandparents: Larry and Tammy McDonough of Rockford, Ohio; Maternal Grandparents: Jonathan and Nichole Zwick of Decatur, Indiana; His great-grandparents include Paternal Great Grandfather, James McDonough of Rockford, Ohio; Maternal Great Grandmother, Nila Swander of Rockford, Ohio; Maternal Great Grandparents, Jack and Cindy Berry of Willshire, Ohio; and Maternal Step Great Grandparents: Bill and Eileen Zwick of Decatur, Indiana.
Huck was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Brad Swander, and his paternal great-grandparents, George and Penny Schinnerer; paternal great-grandmother, Helen McDonough; and maternal great-grandfather, Carl Swander.
Private family services were held with burial following at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Huck’s memory to Parkview Foundation – FBC Bereavement Fund (checks payable to Parkview Foundation and sent to Zwick & Jahn, 520 North Second Street, Decatur, IN 46733)
