Huckston Burchett-Cole Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Henderson & Sons Funeral Home - North Chapel and Crematory - Rome on Dec. 31, 2025.
Huckston James Burchett-Cole, 6 days old, infant son of Annie Burchett and Braxton Cole, of Rome, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at Erlanger Baroness Hospital, in the arms of his family. He was proceeded in his death by his great grandparents, Deana and James McCauley; and his guardian angel, Adyson Williams.
While he was only on earth for a short period of time, Huckston touched the hearts of many and was loved by everyone. He was born prematurely at 24 weeks only weighing 11oz and was 10 inches long. He was a strong, tiny fighter that did everything he could to be here. Huckston was planted on earth for 6 days before God called him home. Every moment spent with him will be cherished forever.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his grandparents, Juli McCauley, Connie Grissett, Mark Burchett, Michelle Jackson; aunt, Lauren Burchett-Rogers; uncles, Daniel Burchett (Shelby), Zaylen Cochran and Will McCauley; cousins, Paityn Burchett, Ava Lovering, Isaac Fallin, Jack Burchett, Everly Burchett, Connor Burchett, Kate Burchett, and Elle Burchett; great aunts, Melissa Helms (Joshua Milsap), Anna McCauley (Derek Bell), Melissa Pharr (Matthew), Susan Burchett and Ann Burchett-Mullet; great uncles John McCauley, Joseph McCauley (Christy), Tony Burchett (Debbie), and Tee Burchett (Jackie); and great-great aunt, Donna Johnson; beloved family friend, Erica Throneberry. His god mothers, Addison Leigh Rittenhouse and Holly Nicole Moore also survive.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Noah Rayburn, Aiden Williams, Jackson Burns, Alexander Klaas, Braylen Sutton, Jacob Miller, Braxton Lawrence, Ryan Tyler and Laken Alnutt.
In accordance with his parent's wishes, he will be cremated and a special memorial service and celebration of life will be held later.
