Hugh P. Clark

Hugh P. Clark, 90 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his home.

Hugh was born in 1935 in Frederick County, VA, the son of the late Charles and Julia Clark. He was a high school graduate who worked as a forklift operator for Superior Concrete Block in Winchester. Mr. Clark spent a lot of his time working his land and tending to his garden. He loved listening to Jimmy Swaggart, watching NASCAR and racing. His favorite driver was David Pearson.

He married Naomi Mae Dawson on September 2, 1054, in Oakland, MD and she preceded him in death on June 4, 2021.
Hugh is survived by his son, Robert H. "Bobby" Clark of Stephenson, Donald E. "Donnie" Clark, Sr. (Deborah) of Noblesville, IN; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Hugh is preceded in death by his sisters, Pearl Clark, Velda DeHaven; brothers, Melvin and Raymond Clark and his daughter-in-law, Joette Clark.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10am with a service to be conducted at 11am all held at Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Hugh to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
