Hugh Bramblett Moore, 87, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Hugh was born on November 19, 1938, to the late Tennie and Truell Moore of Dawsonville. He was a 55-year member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He retired from Mills Fuel Service after 42 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Wallace Moore; children, Melissa (Bruce) Tatum, Jill (Glenn) Smith, Richard (Misti) Moore and Russell (Daphne) Moore; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren with 2 on the way, many extended family members and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Richard, Rev. Scott Sorrells and Rev. Pete Martin officiating.
Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
