Hugh Michael Williams Jr. was born on November 17th, 1959, to the late Hugh Michael Williams Sr. and Georgia Mae (Daniels) Williams. Hugh, most commonly known as Mike, was the second oldest of five children. Mike attended Peninsula Elementary and Jefferson High School. He loved to play basketball and baseball. He was a good artist. Mike enjoyed fishing and
reading books. He was well known for his love for stray puppies. Mike received an associate degree at Chemeketa College. He worked as a furniture mover as well as security for the Daniels memorial church of God in Christ. He also worked in customer service. Mike was a true North Portland Native who loved his community and the Portland Trailblazers. Mike loved and adored his daughter, Michaela, and his beautiful granddaughter Amani Hawkins. Mike will be remembered as a compassionate, God fearing,
intelligent man.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bishop & Mrs. HB Daniels Sr., paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Huntley Williams Jr.; his beloved Mother Georgia M. Williams; Father Hugh M. Williams Sr.; Uncle Bishop HB Daniels Jr., Aunt Virginia Daniels, Aunt Jessie Moore, Aunt Gladys Russell, Aunt Sallie Purifoy, Aunt Anna Loving, Aunt Nora Blume, Aunt Maxine Williams, Uncle Clyde Williams, Aunt Eula Williams, siblings; Denise (Nuffy) Williams; Brother Brian K. Williams Sr., Cousins; David Duke & Jessie Green.
Hugh leaves to cherish his memory, Uncle Crayton & Aunt Wendy Jackson; siblings Eddie Dee Williams & Brenda Williams (sister -in law) sister Nicole R. Williams. Daughter Michaela Williams and granddaughter Armani Hawkins.Nieces and Nephews; Edward D. Williams, Deon L. Williams, Shamelah R. Luster, Trevor S. Nyberg, Anthony Williams, Brittney Horsley, Brain Williams jr., Joseph Williams, Regina Rivers, Mikila Williams, Maketha Williams, Lakieva Williams, Kenya Williams,Kaquan Williams, Kristopher Williams, Kahloy Williams, Sydney Williams, and Evagaline Williams.
