Hughmanders Fogle

Hughmanders Fogle was born March 15, 1962. He departed this life on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at his home. He was the youngest child born to Raymond and Jimmie Lee Fogle.

He graduated from Fairview High School, Class of 1980, in Camden, Arkansas. He also attended Oil Belt Vo-Tech and obtained a degree in Auto Mechanics.

His work history was lengthy, but the job he enjoyed the most and talked about the most was with the Ouachita County Highway Department, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He loved his Gradall.

He loved the outdoors-going fishing, playing dominoes, reading, and riding his lawnmower-but his most enjoyable time was spent with family and friends. He never met a stranger.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Good Home Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading his Bible. Hugh loved the Lord, but the Lord loved him best.

In 1983, he married the love of his life, Vickie Fogle; to this union, two children were born.

Hugh was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Raymond Fogle, Jr., Robert Lee Fogle, and Jimmy Fay Elliott; six sisters, Emma Jean Highsmith, Bessie Marie Elliott, Patsy Ruth Jackson, June Diane Elliott, Anjanette Elliott, and Jackie Elliott; and one grandchild.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Antwain Fogle and Angelo Fogle; two daughters, Shani Samuel and Cortney Johnson (Tony); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, with one on the way; four brothers, Charles Elliott (Melba), Larry Elliott (Lee), Robert Elliott, and Terry Elliott; one sister, Veronica Bush; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

His favorite sayings, which he used on numerous occasions, were "I ain't tripping" and "Think it's a game." Hugh will truly be missed.
