Humberto "Beto" Velazquez

Humberto "Beto" Velazquez, of El Campo, passed away at the age of 40, on November 8, 2025. He was born on March 25, 1985 in Mexico to Rufino Velazquez Bargas and Ma. Luz Sanchez Puebla.
He was employed by Rice Belt Warehouse as a welder for the past 15 years. He had a passion for welding and took pride in his work. He previously worked for Barbee Services. All who knew him, knew how much he loved him children. He was always willing and ready to help people out.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Norma Terrazas Velazquez; daughter, Giselle Velazquez; sons, Marcus and Allen Velazquez; mother, Ma. Luz San Puebla; sisters, Ma. Carmen Velazquez and Patricia Velazquez and brothers; Abel Velazquez, Rosario Velasquez, and Manuel Velazquez.
He is preceded by his father, Rufino Velazquez Bargas and sister, Gloria Velazquez.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18 at Triska Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at St. Robert's Catholic Church on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 1:30 p.m. The funeral Mass will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Parmenio Florez Garcia officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Terrazas Sr., Tony Sanchez, David Sanchez, George Sanchez, Eliseo Rosas and Juan Victor Alfonso Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus Velazquez, Allen Velazquez and Manuel Velazquez.
