Chelsea Nicole Hubenak Koudela

Chelsea Nicole Hubenak Koudela, 37, of Louise, passed away on November 4, 2025. She was born on January 26, 1988 in Victoria to Richard (Ricky) Hubenak and Claire Jean (Jeanne) Skrovan Hubenak.
Chelsea graduated from Louise High School in 2006. She graduated college at Texas A & M University Corpus Christi with a degree in teaching. Chelsea spent 10 years after graduating college as a teacher. In 2009 as a Junior High Teacher, Bus Driver and Coach at Louise High School and she taught 2nd Grade at the Blessing Elementary School. She was employed by her sister and brother-in-law at Makin Shade Construction, LLC and Darlin Dachshunds.
Chelsea married the love of her life, Kyle on March 1, 2014. Chelsea was a devoted wife and mother. Chelsea loved her family to the max and looked forward every day to the light shining in her boys eyes and to hear them say one word, "MOM". Her boys were her pride and joy. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, where she also served as a CCD teacher and as a member of the church finance committee.
She is survived by her husband Kyle Koudela; sons, Kent and Kirt Koudela; father, Ricky Hubenak; mother, Jeanne Hubenak; sister, Rachel Schoeneberg (Budd); father-in-law and mother -in-law, Paul and Carol Koudela; brother -in-law, Chad Koudela (Courtney) and nieces and nephews, Levi, Layton and Layni Schoeneberg and Bryce, Brooklyn and Blaine Koudela.
Chelsea was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, J. V. and Verna Svatek Hubenak; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Elizabeth Schmidt Skrovan; dear friends, Stephen and Gayleen Peoples and R. J. Strnadel, Jr.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Hillje. A Rosery will be recited at 9:30 a.m. The funeral mass will follow at 10 a.m. with Rev. Wayne Flagg and the Rev. Kirby Hlavaty concelebrating. Burial will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Hillje.
Pallbearers will be Cory Hajovsky, Seth Kelley, Christopher Chromcak, Werth Garrett, Glenn Buenger, Jordan Gresham, Brad Hubenak and Kevin Dluhos. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Zboril, William "Bo" Garrett, Troy Sless, Budd Schoeneberg, Chad Koudela, Chris Bird and her nieces and nephews.
