Hung Nguyen Obituary
Breaux Bridge- A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 am on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Hung Van Nguyen, 72, who passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will continue on Sunday from 8:00 am until the time of service at 9:00 am.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Throughout his career as a fisherman, Hung Van Nguyen exemplified unwavering diligence and perseverance. It was this steadfast dedication that allowed him to become a revered figure among his peers.
His grandchildren were undoubtedly his pride and joy. He enjoyed cooking for them and taking them to McDonalds.
He is survived by his wife, Lan Thi Huynh; children, Nhan "Chad" (Khanh Bang Le) Nguyen, Nhe (Teo Lam) Nguyen and Tam (Binh Nguyen) Nguyen ; grandchildren, Nicholas Thanh Nha Nguyen, Layna My Yen Nguyen, Ethan Thanh Nhan Nguyen, Eric Hoang Phi Lam, Madison Y Phuong Lam, Tiffani Nhu Phuong Lam, Tia Nhu Binh Nguyen, Talon Thai Binh Nguyen and Taylor Y Binh Nguyen.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cu Nguyen; mother, Nam Tran.
Pellerin Funeral Home, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517 (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
