Breaux Bridge - With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ronald James Guidry, 71, who passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at his residence.
Ronald was a hard worker, known for his dedication and willingness to lend a hand. He was an amazing cook, especially famous for his smothered chicken and potatoes that would bring everyone together. Ronald had a passion for motorcycles and he was a die-hard Saints fan whose loyalty to his team was unmatched.
He was a loving and devoted spouse, father, grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Sylvia Faye Seneca; son, Garrett Guidry (Alisha); step-sons, Kevin Seneca (Michelle) and Chenny Seneca; daughters, Ramanda Guidroz (Brent) and Rhonda Lagrange (Morgan); step-daughter, Sandy Seneca; brother, Donald Guidry (Dean); sister, Rozanne Guidry; 19 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Ann Guidry; and parents, Leroy Guidry and Joyce Olivier Robin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Ronald's name.
Pellerin Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
