Hung T. Pho

Hung T. Pho, age 81, a resident of North Andover, passed away at Sutton Hill Center on Friday, September 15, 2023
surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Ba Thi (Pham) Pho with whom he enjoyed 55 years of marriage.
He was born near Saigon, Vietnam on February 18, 1942 and was the son of the late Gia Thai Pho and Minh Thi Nguyen.
He was college educated and spoke five languages (Vietnamese, English, Japanese, French, and Chinese).
He was a well respected educator in Vietnam where every kid who went through his college prep program was accepted to college. In the US he went to night school and became a quality engineer.
He loved fixing things and could fix just about anything and everything from a record player/radio to a car with some research and trial and error. He also loved swimming even if he wasn't a good swimmer.
In addition to his loving wife, Hung is survived by his daughters Kieu and her husband Martin Cassidy, Xuan and her husband Francois Rondeau, and Diem Pho. Sons Thinh Pho and his wife Martha, Hau Pho and his wife Bethany, and Peter Pho. Grandchildren from oldest to youngest: Brandon Pho, Jacqueline Cassidy, Ryan Pho, Taylor Cassidy, Shannon Pho, Jude-Marc Rondeau, Allyssa Cassidy, Maxime Rondeau, Cai Pho, and Luc Pho.
Services will be held privately at the request of the family.
