Hunter, I didn't know you well, we only met a couple of times. Your parents were so proud of you throughout your life and I guess I got to know you through them. I enjoyed hearing your Dad tell me about your love of sports and what a fine athlete and person you were. Reading about you here I can tell that you had a profound affect on a lot of people's lives. God Bless.

My name is Dylan Fries I was in second grade with Hunter, Mrs. Murfit Holly Ridge elementary and later west middle and cherry creek high school. Hunter was always a funny guy we were good friends in high school and I can´t really remember an instance without laughter between us. Hunter was an amazing hockey hockey player and I´m glad to hear he was following his dream. We had good times together always. We became good friends the summer Hunter had slept at my house along with some other friends for my birthday, including Grant Kenney, Matthew Bennett, Christopher Jurachek, though Hunter had more friends than one could count. We camped out in my back yard. I think we were up all night laughing and talking of the future. Of course Hunter´s personality and ability to make everyone laugh at any given moment was the highlight of that night we laughed until we cried. That is how I will always remember Hunter and that night is engraved into my minds fondest memories, and I´m sure everyone that night will always have more joy in there lives as a result of Hunter´s sense of humor. In addition to being the life of the party, he will also be remembered as driven, smart, and motivated. He always seemed to get good grades and was amazing at every sport he played whether baseball or hockey he was always such a talented athlete. I remember during a baseball game he had an opposing player slid into home and broke Hunter´s wrist. And within a day or two he was already wanting to keep playing. His passion for sports always so admirable. Hunter´s future was bright as I knew it would be. He was such a smart kid. Hunter had so many friends and always made more no matter where he was, "Hunter Hartman "always a popular name! He was never shy and was also quite the ladies man always attending dances or school events with such beautiful girls who were undoubtedly attracted to his personality and sense of humor, not to mention Hunter was always a good lookin guy. He will be missed, but lives on in spirit through his friends, and of course his family. I will always be grateful to have had him in my life as short as it was, but we will meet again. My deepest condolences to his mom, dad, and sister and family as well as all of us who had the pleasure of knowing hunter. RIP brother, gone but never forgotten.
