Hunter Wilson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brookside Funeral Home and Crematory (Yakima) - Moxee on Jan. 29, 2026.
Hunter Lee Wilson, born August 27, 1999 in Yakima, WA, was a humble and adventurous spirit who, in the span of his 26 years, left an indelible impact on those fortunate enough to have known him. As the saying goes, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit." This perfectly encapsulates Hunter Lee's life. He was an ambitious, dedicated man who pursued his passion for the outdoors, mechanics, and the joy of fatherhood with fervor. He was a laborer by profession, working in general construction, but his true calling was being a father to his son Waylon, and teaching him all that he knew.

Hunter Lee's adventurous nature was seen in his love for shooting guns and in his constant exploration of the great outdoors. He was mechanically inclined, always seeming to be working on one of his several vehicles, showcasing his drive and dedication. His humble beginnings in Yakima, Washington, shaped him into the strong, resilient man he was, and his ambition led him to achieve more than he ever dreamed of. He was a beacon of strength and inspiration for his family and friends.

Hunter Lee is survived by his loving family: his mother Jacquelyn Wilson, stepfather Duran Mock, father Victor Garcia and stepmother, Samantha Schultz Garcia; his son, Waylon Wilson; Hunter had two brothers, Ethan Hernandez and Jadon Garcia and was blessed with many step siblings; Blain Webster, and Brenden Webster, Emalynn Schultz, Dakota Liniger, Dylan Mock and Daisha Mock. Hunter Lee is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Denise Wilson. His family and friends will gather at Brookside Funeral Home & Crematory (Moxee) on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 3:00pm PST to celebrate his life.
