Hurdline McCroy Obituary
She was born to the late Alton & Katherine Maybelle Guthery Johnson, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph McCroy; her son, Darrell McCroy; her daughter, April McCroy; and her siblings, Opal Johnson, James Johnson, Bodie Johnson, Audrey McSwain, and Sheila Whatley.
Hassie is survived by her loving siblings: Tommy (Emma) Johnson, Danny (Ladonna) Johnson, and Joe Johnson.
She is also survived by her children: Kathy (Richard) Daniel, Larry (Dawn) McCroy, Tim McCroy, and Rodney McCroy.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Chris Striker, Duffy (Amber) Striker, Sean (Ashley) Daniel, Courtney (Kristian) Blair, Brandon McCroy, Cody (Lindsay) McCroy, Jesse McCroy, Justice McCroy, Kristian (Heath) Grimes, and Rodney "Junior" McCroy, along with a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Hassie will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 30th, 2025 at 12 noon at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Valley Springs Cemetery, Bro. Larry Duke and Duffy Striker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-12.
Pallbearers will be Rodney McCroy, Chris Striker, Sean Daniel, Tim McCroy, Jesse McCroy, Brandon McCroy, Cody McCroy.
