Huston E. Borders, age 77, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on April 14, 2025. He was born in Blue Mountain, Alabama on October 25, 1947, son of the late Huston Jack Borders and the late Lattie Myers Borders.
He is survived by his brother: Edward Borders; brother-in-law: Kenneth Patrick; nieces and nephews: Connie Lawson and husband Richard, Michelle Green, Elizabeth Lovins and husband Tony, April Borders, Donna Ingram, Ken Patrick, Tina Dix and husband Butch, Tracy Arnett and husband Mark, Tiffany Prichard; 10 great nieces and nephews and many many great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Pauline and Furman Prichard, sister: Vera Patrick and infant brother.
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Charles Gibbs officiating.
Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at AI Church Cemetery in Heflin, Alabama with Brother Steve McFall officiating graveside service.
