Ms. Huvanna C. McCraney, 33, of Huntsville, formerly of Gadsden, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Ms. Huvanna McCraney was born on July 11,1992 in Birmingham, AL to Mrs. Sharon McCraney-McNeal.

She was a member of Saint Luke Christian Church of Huntsville, AL.

She received her education through the Gadsden City & Rainbow City School System and continued her education at Strayer University where she was one month away from completing her Business Degree. She also had a degree in Massage Therapy.

As a child, she loved to run track at Rainbow Middle School. She was someone to be reckoned with on that track field, if you don't believe me, ask Southside, Hokes Bluff and Glenco schools. She was an "A" honor roll student throughout elementary and middle school.

Huvanna had a passion for beauty and fashion. She loved to strut her beauty on a runway. She was a part-time model for Maxi, and she competed monthly for spots to show off her love for beauty and fashion.

Huvanna was very energetic and charismatic. She was truly a social butterfly. She didn't meet strangers. She was a loving, kind, and compassionate person. She loved to make others laugh; she was hilarious.

One of her favorite hobbies was spending time with her many nieces and nephews.

Huvanna was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Evelyn Ann Ragland and her aunt, Wynetta McCraney.

She leaves her beautiful memories to be cherished by: her mother, Sharon (Jerome) McCraney-McNeal; sisters, Kalandra McCraney and Susan Douglas; brothers, Daven McCraney, Albert (Kayla Hart) Douglas, and Jordan (Alexia) Douglas; Huvanna was looking forward to spending her life with a very special man, Nixon Jeanniton; aunts, Kimberly McCraney, Quanitta McCraney and Jamie Rudolph; uncle, Mark McCraney; great aunts, Doris Ragland, Missie Ragland, and Linda Ragland; great uncle, Henry Ragland; Sister in laws, Alexia Douglas, Kayla Hart, Kavitha McNeal, Dallas Green and Charity Staton; Special friends, Devon Dillion, Ajaija Malone, Martanique Bostick and Kenyata Woods and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
